Garlic Chicken Puffs

These Garlic Chicken Puffs are a quick and easy finger food, perfect for an appetizer. We made them this weekend for Game Night with some of our friends, and they were a big hit. We made them a little bit healthier by using reduced fat crescent rolls and substituting yogurt cheese for the cream cheese.

Adapted from this recipe

Ingredients:
  • 2 oz cream cheese (or yogurt cheese)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 can shredded chicken
  • 1 oz shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 can crescent rolls
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 375.
  • In a small bowl, mix the cream cheese, garlic powder, mozzarella cheese, and chicken until well blended.
  • Unroll the crescent rolls and cut each triangle into 2 smaller triangles.
  • Place 1 tsp of the chicken mixture on the center of each triangle and fold the corners in over the mixture.
  • Place on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper, and bake for 10-12 minutes.
