Jalapeno Popper Dip

This dip is absolutely perfect for just about any gathering. You can serve it with crackers, tortilla chips, baguette slices, or pita chips. We served it with black bean and garlic tortilla chips and it was a great combination.

Adapted from this recipe

Ingredients:
  • 1 (8oz) package cream cheese (or yogurt cheese), softened
  • 1/2 cup light mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup shredded Mexican blend cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 oz diced green chilies
  • 2 oz sliced jalapenos
  • 1/2 cup Panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon butter, melted
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 375.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the cream cheese, mayonnaise, Mexican cheese, 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese, green chilies, and jalapenos and stir until thoroughly combined. Spread the dip into a greased baking dish.
  • In a small bowl, mix the breadcrumbs, the remaining 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese, and melted butter until incorporated.

  • Sprinkle the crumb mixture evenly over the dip and bake for about 20 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the dip is bubbly.
