Adapted from this recipe
Ingredients:
- 1/2 lb lean ground beef
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 pkg dry onion soup mix
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 can (11 oz) pizza dough
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Lettuce, to taste
Instructions:
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef until brown, and drain.
- Add water, onion soup mix, ketchup, mustard and garlic to the meat.
- Stir to combine and simmer over low heat.
- In another large skillet, heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil over medium heat.
- Using a pizza cutter, divide the pizza dough into eight equal portions and roll each one into a round, tortilla-like shape.
- Fry the dough for one minute on each side or until golden brown and bubbly.
- Remove to a paper towel to drain.
- Top with beef mixture, shredded cheese and lettuce.
