Buffalo Chicken Crescents

TJ is from upstate New York, so it's fitting that one of his favorite things is buffalo sauce. He will eat it with just about anything, so when I found this recipe, I figured it would be right up his alley. These are one of the easiest things to make, and would work great for dinner, appetizers, or tailgating.

Adapted from this recipe

Ingredients:
  • 8 fully cooked fried chicken fingers (like frozen Tyson crispy chicken strips)
  • 4 slices smoked provolone cheese, cut in half
  • 1 can reduced fat crescent rolls
  • 1/2 cup buffalo wing sauce
  • 1/8 cup ranch dressing, plus additional for dipping
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 375.
  • Separate the crescent rolls into 8 triangles.
  • Pour the wing sauce and the ranch dressing into a small bowl, and mix thoroughly.
  • Place one half slice of provolone cheese on top of each crescent roll.
  • Completely coat the chicken fingers in the wing sauce and place on top of the cheese.
  • Roll up each crescent and place on a cookie sheet topped with parchment paper.
  • Bake for 18-20 minutes or until golden brown.
