Adapted from this recipe
Ingredients:
- 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 can reduced fat refrigerated biscuit dough
- 1 cup sloppy joe sauce
- shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350.
- In a large skillet, brown beef and onion powder, and drain.
- Add the sloppy joe sauce and simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes.
- While the beef mixture is simmering, open the biscuit dough and press the individual biscuits into a greased muffin tin forming a "cup".
- Using an ice cream scoop, place the beef mixture into the center of each biscuit cup and bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
- Immediately top with cheese, and serve.
