Adapted from this recipe
Ingredients:
- 1lb ground beef
- 1 package taco seasoning
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 15 large pasta shells
- 1 cup salsa
- 1 cup shredded habanero cheese
- 1 ½ cups lime tortilla chips (crushed)
- 3 green onions (chopped)
- 1 cup sour cream
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350.
- In a skillet, cook the ground beef with the taco seasoning, according to package directions.
- While the beef is cooking, boil the pasta shells and drain when fully cooked.
- When the ground beef is finished, add the cream cheese. Cover and simmer until the cheese is fully melted, blending well.
- Pour half of the salsa into the bottom of a 9x13 baking dish.
- Stuff each shell with the meat mixture, and place in the baking dish.
- Cover the tops of the shells with the other half of the salsa.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Uncover and sprinkle the shredded cheese and crushed chips on top, and cook for 15 more minutes.
- Once the shells have finished cooking, top with sour cream and green onions to serve.
