Thursday's Three Things: "Everybody's Working for the Weekend"

Hey guys! Ready for this week’s edition of Thursday’s Three Things? It’s been another long, busy week on this end so I’m craving the weekend more than ever right now! I don’t know about you guys, but when I’m really look forward to something, I daydream about it… a lot. So, let’s just get right down to today’s topic, shall we?

What are three things that you have planned for this weekend?

1. Shout out to my dad, whose birthday is this Saturday! We’ll be hanging out with my parents for most of the day, celebrating his birthday in style. My family has always made a big deal out of birthdays, and we usually turn them into day-long events, which is awesome.

 2. We’re going out with our friends Nick and Kristin on Sunday afternoon to see The Dark Knight Rises. I’m particularly excited, because the movie was filmed in Pittsburgh, and it features both Heinz Field and some of my favorite Steelers players. Also, I’ve got to throw in a shameless plug for Kristin’s awesome blog Celebrate the Goodness. Please go check it out and show her some love!

3. I saw this while browsing Pinterest a couple of weeks ago, and I decided to give it a try. I love the idea of making one for where TJ and I had our first kiss, one for where we got engaged, and one for where we got married. I got the first two done, so at some point this weekend I plan on doing the last one and hanging them all above our bed. As soon as I finish the last one, I'll be posting them in my Etsy Shop, but in the meantime, feel free to check out some of my other stuff! (Please excuse my phone pictures below)
